All students take a placement test on the first day of their course. The exact level of each student can then be determined and the student is placed in a class which is best suited to his/her ability. Weekly teachers' meetings enable us to monitor the progress of each student and to decide whether a change of level is necessary.
Students who wish to enrol on a Cambridge Examination Course are required to take an English language pre-test to ascertain their level of English prior to arrival. The test is available on our website, or can be requested from our office. Click here for the English language pre-test or request the test from our office.
All language teachers at Harrow House have a native-speaking ability of English and are specifically trained and qualified in the teaching of English as a foreign language.
All sports lessons are supervised either by our qualified sports instructors or by specialised sports coaches.
Our College offers small, friendly and informal classroom environments, best suited to maximising each student’s potential.
Class sizes during the low season (March, May and September) range between 8 and 14 students.
Class sizes during the high season (April, June to August) range between 14 and 16 students.
